sub4me is a platform where Nigerians can request and receive mobile airtime from generous individuals when they are short on funds.
Simply create an account as a requester, enter your mobile number, and specify the amount of airtime you need. Your request will be visible to generous users who may choose to send you airtime.
Create a helper account and log in. Navigate to the Live Requests tab, select a request that resonates with you, and fulfill it using your preferred method.
Currently, there's a request limit of ₦3000. It's therefore adviced to request only what you genuinely need. This increases the likelihood that someone will fulfill your request.
You can request for another sub 5 days after your last request was completed.
The time it takes to receive airtime varies. It depends solely on when a generous user is able to fulfill your request. It can be immediate or take a little time.
You usually get an sms when your sub request is about to be granted. Once you have recieved your sub, you will need to log back into your account to mark it as complete.
No, using sub4me to request or send airtime is absolutely free of charge. We aim to foster a community of generosity without any financial barriers.
No. We only facilitate connecting those in need with those who wish to help. If you have extra airtime, funds or are feeling generous, you can choose to send it to those in need by browsing through the catalogue of user requests and selecting one to fulfill.
You can use a variety of methods to sub for others, including:
International airtime top-up services (e.g., WorldRemit, Sendwave, etc.).
Mobile banking apps.
Direct airtime purchase platforms that support Nigerian networks.
Dedicated mobile apps by network providers. (MTN, GLO, Airtel, 9Mobile)
No, you do not need a Nigerian phone number. You only need to sign up on sub4me and select a request. You can complete the sub using your preferred payment method, whether you’re in Nigeria or abroad.
Yes! You can sub for multiple requesters through sub4me. Just browse open requests, select the one you'd like to fulfill, and complete the sub using your preferred method. Note: You can only fulfill a new request after completing a previous request.
Once you’ve completed the sub, the requester will confirm receipt through the sub4me platform. You will be notified when your sub has been successfully delivered.
Yes, we take your privacy seriously. Your personal information is securely stored and only used to facilitate the transfer of airtime. However, we would like to point out that by using our platform and accepting our terms & conditions, you agree to share your details with the community.
sub4me supports all major Nigerian mobile networks, including MTN, Glo, Airtel, and 9mobile, ensuring everyone can participate.
Currently, sub4me is designed for personal use. We recommend the individual in need of airtime create their own account and request for a sub directly.
While most requests are fulfilled, if yours isn't, you can cancel your open request and try submitting another request later. Patience is key, and someone may eventually help!
When a helper pulls out of fulfilling a request, the request will automatically be made available again to the community, and the requester will be informed through an in-app notification.
